Giolla and Emily are the creative minds behind Artwood and have been crafting in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, since 2013.
In 2013, Emily brought home a crystal, sparking Giolla's creativity. That crystal transformed into the very first Moon Suncatcher, setting the beginning of Artwood.
Fast forward to a Christmas Market in 2013 – they decided to share their creations, and the response was incredible! Suncatchers, moons, and rings flew off the shelves.
It was May 2014 when Giolla and Emily decided to make it official – Artwood was born. Markets, the launch of a dedicated website, and the introduction of personalised Suncatchers in 2016 marked significant milestones in their journey.
Artwood proudly embraces green practices. Locally sourced Beech and Oakwood, eco-friendly packaging, and a commitment to upcycling define their sustainable commitments. In 2016, Artwood gained recognition on Nationwide, putting them them into the spotlight even further.
Their workshop is filled with the scent of locally grown wood, and a laser engraver adds new dimensions to their creations.
