About Our Silver Plated Cutlery
EPNS is Electro Plated Nickel Silver. Our Silver Plated (EPNS) cutlery features a coating of pure silver which is deposited by the process of electrolysis onto a brass alloy of copper, zinc and nickel, traditionally known as nickel silver.
For decades our Electro Plated Silverware has adorned the tables of stately homes, embassies, 5 star hotels and restaurants. The thickness of the silver plate determines the durability of our tableware. Newbridge Silverware (assuming normal domestic use and the following of our simple care of cutlery guidelines) carries a 55 year guarantee. This is a true testament to the quality of our product.

Quinlans was started by Brigin and John P Quinlan in Macroom, County Cork. We’ve had some fantastic people join our team over the years, and any success that we’ve had is as much theirs as it is ours. Our current team is small and we pride ourselves on cultivating a culture where people can be themselves at work, feel safe and appreciated, and have an opportunity to continuously learn and develop.
