Inspired by the famous 17th Claddagh ring, jewellery designer Eileen Moylan's award-winning collection draws inspiration from creations from the past for her contemporary designs.
The original Claddagh ring dates back to the late 17th century. It is worn as a symbol of love, loyalty, and friendship. First created by goldsmith Richard Joyce in the little town of Claddagh, County Galway, the Claddagh ring was crafted to include two hands presenting a crowned heart. The three Claddagh symbols are the heart for love, the crown for loyalty, and two hands for friendship. Three powerful sentiments that embody the Irish spirit.

Quinlans was started by Brigin and John P Quinlan in Macroom, County Cork. We’ve had some fantastic people join our team over the years, and any success that we’ve had is as much theirs as it is ours.
